Ordering Procedure
We have tried to make our website as easy and intuitive as possible for you to browse, select, and order products you want. You may find the following information useful.

  • Products are arranged by broad categories. Each category is shown on a separate page.

  • All categories are listed on the left in the global navigation bar. This bar appears on every page, so that you can jump to any category directly by clicking it.

  • The global navigation bar also shows all other links, e.g. Contact Us, so that you can access any information quickly and directly by clicking the appropriate link.

  • We have provided “Go Back” links on all pages, so that you will never get lost in our website.

  • You may go through all categories sequentially, one by one, by clicking the “Next Product” or “Next Page” link at the very bottom of a page. Scroll down, if necessary, to reach the bottom of a page.

  • All categories are shown together on the “Showcase” page to give a bird’s eye view.

  • Each category page shows various products included in it, as well as all colors, sizes, finishes available for each of the products.

  • Once you have examined various products, and the different colors, sizes, etc., in which a product is available, please click the “Order Now” link next to the product you wish to order.

  • This will take you to the “details” page for that product. This page shows all the details of the product you have selected, including the price. On this page you will see a bar, with a down arrow next to it, which says, “Select Your Item”. Click this down arrow to select the specific color, size, etc. that you wish to order. Scroll up or down, and click the specific color, size, etc., you desire. If you do not find your selection in this drop down menu, it means that particular style or variety is out of stock, in which case you may make an alternate selection.

  • Once you have selected the product, and the desired style or variety, click “Add to Order” button.

  • This will take you to your shopping cart. Your shopping cart shows you, at any point in time, all the products you have selected, quantities, prices, amounts, total, etc.

  • From the shopping cart page you may either click “Check Out” link to finish shopping, or click “Continue Shopping” link to go back to the category page from where you came. You may then order more products from the same category, or continue browsing other categories.

  • When you have finished shopping, click “Check Out” link on the shopping cart page. This will take you to a “secure” page, where you will be asked to supply billing, shipping, and payment information. You will see a lock or a key symbol at the bottom of your browser indicating that the personal information you are supplying is under the “secure” mode, and is being encrypted for privacy and security.

  • Once you finish supplying billing and shipping information, a complete invoice will be presented to you showing all order details, all charges, and the total amount that will be charged to your charge card. Please be sure and print this page for your records using your browser’s print button.

  • We will, of course, send you e-mail confirming all order details (but, not your charge card number).

Payment Methods:
Currently we accept only on-line orders with payment by credit card. In the near future, we will be accepting fax and mail orders also. 

Ordering on-line from us is secure. We employ industry standard security procedures, such as SSL, to protect your personal information. All your personal information, including credit card number, is encrypted to ensure confidentiality.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. We plan to add other types of cards soon.

We do not charge your credit card account until we are ready to ship your order.

Sales Tax
We are a Texas business. The Texas State law requires us to collect applicable sales taxes (state, county, city, etc.) on all orders billed to Texas addresses. We are currently not required to collect sales tax on orders billed to addresses outside Texas. Therefore, we charge sales tax as follows:

Orders Billed to Texas Addresses:
State Tax 6.25% plus applicable County and City sales taxes. Total Not to Exceed 8.25%

Orders Billed to Out-of-Texas Addresses:
No sales tax

Shipping Methods
Our Standard shipping method is USPS Priority Mail. However, you may choose USPS Express Mail, as an option, at an additional cost, if you need your order sooner. You can make this choice at the time of checkout. We reserve the right to substitute other carriers in place of USPS, if needed.

We cannot deliver to:

  • Post Office Boxes

  • Private Mail Box Locations

  • Hotels / Motels, etc.

  • Conventions / Trade Shows / Conferences

  • APO / FPO Addresses

  • Freight Forwarders

Shipping Time
We generally ship all orders within 3 to 5 business days of the receipt of your order. We ship Express Mail orders within 24 hours. However, occasionally these shipping times may be longer due to situations beyond our control. We will inform you at your e-mail address if this time is likely to be longer.

Delivery Time
Priority Mail within USA is generally delivered by USPS Mail system within 2 to 3 business days. Actual time may vary.
Express Mail within USA is generally delivered by USPS Mail system the next business day. Actual time may vary.
Delivery time is in addition to the shipping time.

Backorder Policy
We stock all items. However, we may run out of an item occasionally. Our website will not allow you to order an out-of-stock item. Sometimes an item may be sold out due to another customer’s order placed ahead of your order, but before we have had a chance to update the inventory status. In any case, if we are out of stock on an item, we will notify you by e-mail to ask if you want us to ship your order excluding the out-of-stock item, or if you wish to cancel the order. We will promptly refund your credit card for the out-of-stock item, or the entire payment if you wish to cancel the order.

Order Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your order, please e-mail us at custsrvc@worldofincarnation.com immediately. As long as your order has not been shipped we will cancel your order, and refund your payment less the cost of processing your order. The amount of this deduction depends on the size of your original payment. It is roughly about 4%.

Return Policy
Our products are made by hand from recycled materials. Due to the nature of the handmade processes our products may have slight variations in color, texture, weight, finish, etc. Also, it is impossible to reproduce all characteristics of a product 100% accurately on the large range of computer monitors. 

Non-Defective Returns
We are confident that you will love our products. However, if for some reason you wish to return the products, you need to do so within 10 days of shipment date; freight pre-paid. We will refund you the cost of the returned products less the shipping and handling fees. The returned products must be unused; without any damage, creases, cuts or chipping; and in the original new-like saleable condition. Our determination of the condition of the product will be final. Under certain circumstances we reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee. Please follow the Returns Procedure shown below.

Defective/Damaged Product Returns
We will exchange or repair defective/damaged products, at our discretion, within 10 days of shipment date. We will ship you replacement for damaged or defective items free of shipping cost. Our determination of the condition of the product will be final. Refund will be made only if we cannot send you a replacement. Please follow the Returns Procedure shown below.

Returns Procedure
All returns must be freight pre-paid and insured for the value of the product(s).Prior to return please e-mail us at custsrvc@worldofincarnation.com
for obtaining RA (return authorization) #. No returns will be accepted without a valid RA #. RA numbers are valid only for 7 days. Please write the RA# clearly on the shipping label, and send the package to:

Refused Shipments 
No refund of any kind will be made if a shipment is returned to us because you fail to take the delivery of the shipment.

Shipments Returned Due to Non-Deliverable Shipping Address
If a shipment is returned to us because the carrier cannot deliver to the address you specified as the shipping address, we will attempt to e-mail you for correct shipping address. Upon receipt of the new correct shipping address, we will re-ship your order. However, there will be additional shipping charges for re-shipping. If you do not specify a separate shipping address while completing the order, we will ship to the billing address you specified.

Refunds
If we determine that a refund is in order, we will make the refund of the appropriate amount in the same form as your payment. For example, if you paid by a charge card, we will issue appropriate credit to your charge card account, etc.
